Ben Byers practices in the firm’s Owensboro office. Ben has been practicing law since 2006. After graduating from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, Ben moved back to Western Kentucky and began practicing criminal defense law. In 2009, he joined a law firm in Owensboro that focused its practice in personal injury litigation and representing injury victims. In January 2020, Ben expanded his practice to include personal injury, wrongful death, criminal defense, elder law, and estate planning. Ben joined Rhoads and Rhoads in August 2024 and now primarily practices personal injury, wrongful death, civil litigation, Social Security disability, and elder law. Ben is a native of Ohio County, Kentucky, and graduated from Ohio County High School in Hartford, KY. He earned his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. He is an active member of the Kentucky Justice Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. Ben is committed to treating each client like a member of his own family. He understands that clients often seek help during difficult times, and he shows compassion and creates genuine connections while also fighting with his unique litigation skills to win his client’s cases. Ben’s goal is to improve his client’s lives and ultimately alleviate their financial burdens. Outside work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Lori, and their two children. He is active in the Owensboro community and attends Owensboro Christian Church. Golf is his passion, and although his skills won't land him on the PGA Tour, he has loved playing since childhood.
